Urgency and need for adaptation to Climate Change
Rome -- Last 10 March 2008, Minister for the Environment of Iceland Mrs Thorunn Sveinbjarnardóttir visited FAO Headquarters at the invitation of the Gender, Equity, and Rural Employment Division. During a ceremony marking the celebration of the International Women's Day, the Iceland's Minister and FAO officials, including Deputy Director-General Mr James Butler and Ms Marcela Villarreal, Director of the Gender Division, exchanged views with three Rome based-International schools.
