من المقرر أن يعود مشروع التكيف والقدرة على الصمود بالفائدة على أكثر من نصف مليون شخص على مدى ست سنوات
سونغدو/روما - يسعى مشروع قيمته 52.3 مليون دولار، وافق عليه اليوم الصندوق الأخضر للمناخ، إلى مساعدة ملاوي على مواجهة الآثار المدمرة لتغير المناخ وتعزيز الأمن الغذائي في البلاد على المدى الطويل. ومن المقرر أن يعود هذا المشروع، الذي تتولى قيادته منظمة الأغذية والزراعة للأمم المتحدة (المنظمة)، بالفائدة على ما يقرب من 575 ألف شخص من الفئات الضعيفة في المجتمعات الريفية على مدى ست سنوات. وسيتيح الاستثمارات التي تشتد الحاجة إليها في مجالي التكيف والقدرة على الصمود في ملاوي التي تصنِّفها الأمم المتحدة على أنها من أقل البلدان نموًا.

An FAO delegation visited Burundi to raise awareness on the role and opportunities for parliamentarians to tackle food security, malnutrition and poverty issues by transforming agrifood systems.
