The Rabobank Foundation and FAO will share knowledge, innovation and financial resources in a broad strategy to make a difference in the lives of small-holder farmers and the rural poor in Africa. An agreement signed at FAO headquarters sets out how the organizations will work together on development projects in Ethiopia, Kenya and Tanzania. Marcela Villarreal, directrice du bureau des partenariats, des activités de plaidoyer et du renforcement des capacités de la FAO avait visité les installations de l'Université La Salle Beauvais en France, afin de signer le protocole d'accord. Grâce à ce protocole, les étudiants de cette université polytechnique et specialisée dans la formation agricole pourront suivre quelques cours en ligne designés par la FAO. Les cours comprendront des matières comme securité alimentaire, genre etc. Les deux entites collaboreront  également à la rédacton des projets et à la mobilisation conjointe des ressources.
