The Board of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) today approved an $11.8 million project to support zero-deforestation cocoa production in Côte d’Ivoire, to be implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in collaboration with the country’s Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (MINEDD).
