During the Bonn 2017 UN climate change conference (6 - 17 November 2017) where governments will convene to discuss next steps after the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement, FAO will host an event covering food loss and waste reduction. On 10 November, under the theme Agriculture, Energy and Water, the UN agency will assemble experts for a discussion entitled "Promoting collaborative action to reduce food loss and waste".

In the heart of the Bonn Zone at the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP23 in Bonn, Germany, the Marrakech Partnership for Global Climate Action (GCA) is hosting a five-day program of events, which will demonstrate how cities, regions, businesses and investors are working – in harmony with governments – to implement the Paris Agreement.
