The new Names of Countries Database has been released
The CPAM Language Support Unit has released a new Names of Countries Database (http://termportal.fao.org/faonocs) which has been redesigned and includes the following features:
- full country names, short country names, names for lists and tables; adjectives, capital cities and currencies (in Arabic, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian and Chinese);
- dynamically-linked country codes, managed by CIO;
- new and easy download functions;
- Web Services;
- over 100 areas and territories
- searchable from the Term Portal GLOBAL SEARCH: http://termportal.fao.org/search
