FAO Food Price Index little changed amid mixed commodity price trends

The FAO Food Price Index (FFPI) averaged 130.3 points in June 2026, down 0.4 points (0.3 percent) from its May level. Increases in the price indices for vegetable oils and meat were offset by declines in sugar, cereals, and dairy products.
The Codex Alimentarius Commission strategic plan 2026–2031

The Codex Alimentarius Commission strategic plan 2026–2031 is now available for download. The Strategic Plan, which was adopted by the 47th session of the Codex Alimentarius Commission sets out a clear, forward-looking framework to strengthen consumer health and fair practices in food trade through science-based standards. It outlines Codex’s vision for the next six years in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
