Provisional List of Participants | A limited number of print outs of the Provisional List of Participants will be available from the morning of Monday, 8 April 2019 at the Documents Desk, Korean Conference Service Centre (1st Floor, Building A), for the purpose of checking the accuracy of entries. Participants are requested to submit any corrections or amendments to the Documents Desk for inclusion in the final list, which will be uploaded to the Council Web page. Only registered participants will appear on the list. | |
PaperSmart | Participants may make use of the “Print-on-demand” service, if required, at the Documents Desk in the Korean Conference Service Centre (1st Floor, Building A). Council documents can be downloaded at: http://www.fao.org/about/meetings/council/cl161/documents/en/ Documents also carry a QR code to allow participants to retrieve the electronic version easily. | |
FAO Members Gateway | The FAO Members Gateway, the main channel of communication with Members, offers access to governance and management information. Bilateral meeting rooms | Some bilateral meeting rooms are available for use by delegations on an hourly basis. Please refer to Room A276, email: [email protected] | |
Travel facilities (flight reservation and reconfirmation) | Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), the official travel agency of the Organization, is located on the Ground Floor of Building D (Room D074) and is open from 09.00 to 17.00. Health Services | For medical emergencies, participants should dial 30 from in-house telephones or 0657053400 from outside FAO headquarters. For other medical services, participants may contact the receptionist on extension number 53577 from in-house telephones (0657053577 from outside FAO headquarters) or by email at [email protected]. They may also go directly to the Health Services (1st Floor, Building B) during the working hours of the Council 08.30-17.30. For urgent medical assistance outside working hours, participants are requested to call 112 or 118 or Guardia Medica/Doctors-on-Call on 06570600. | |
Banking and currency exchange facilities | The Banca Intesa Sanpaolo is located on the Ground Floor, Building B, and is open from 08.35 to 16.35. The Banca Popolare di Sondrio is located on the Ground Floor, Building D (D016), and is open from 08.30 to 16.30. Cash dispensers (ATM) for credit card withdrawals are located at the entrances of both banks, as well as at the entrance to the Post Office also on the Ground Floor. | |
Media assistance for Permanent Representatives during the Council | The Office for Corporate Communication (OCC) informs Delegates to Council that the Media Relations Branch (OCCM) can provide technical support and facilities for radio and TV interviews in the studios of the Angola Radio and Television Centre, 3rd floor of Building A (Room A330) from 09.00 to 17.30. Requests should be forwarded, with at least 24 hours’ notice, to FAO-Newsroom [email protected] tel.: +39 0657053625. | |
Estonian Contact Centre (ECC) | The Estonian Contact Centre (ECC) (B016) is located at the bottom of the stairs leading to the Iran Room on the Ground Floor of Building B. The ECC has two videophones equipped with Skype technology to enable free video calls to be made anywhere in the world. | |
Catering facilities | The FAO headquarters offers the following dining and snack bar facilities:
ATM (Bancomat) and credit cards are accepted at the Cafeteria, Restaurant, Open Buffet, Polish Bar and Blue Bar. Vending machines and water dispensers are available in various locations throughout the building. | |
Meditation Room | The Meditation Room is available for use by Council participants. | |
Cloakroom | A cloakroom is situated in the Foyer of the Main Entrance (Building A). | |
Access and Facilities for Disabled Persons | FAO headquarters is accessible to disabled persons with wheelchairs. Most lifts at headquarters are accessible by wheelchair. Restroom facilities for disabled visitors are located in Building A, near the meeting rooms and in buildings C and D which are accessible from buildings B and F. | |
