National Institute for Applied Research in Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine is a scientific research institution, being the vanguard and coordinator of technical-scientific progress in horticulture, winemaking and food technologies in the Republic of Moldova. It was created according to the Government Decision of the Republic of Moldova no. 761 of June 24, 2008 "On optimizing the infrastructure of science and innovation in the agri-food sector".
