The Association of Agriculture and Agribusiness Economists ( Stowarzyszenie Ekonomistów Rolnictwa i Agrobiznesu (SERiA), based in Poznań, is a well-known association uniting agricultural economists in Poland. The Association was established on 26th November 1993 at a founding meeting in Falenty near Warsaw. Close to 60 founding members expressed their will to found the Association. The former Rector of the Agricultural University Poznań, Professor Ryszard Ganowicz, agreed for the headquarters of the Association to be located at the Agricultural University of Poznań (currently the Poznań University of Life Sciences).
