The Center for Advancement of Applied Sciences is a professional society for promoting the life sciences. The Society was established in 1995 at Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. It advances recent concepts in Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Sciences, Fishery, Forestry and other biological Sciences and provides information on the latest developments and research advances through its journal(s) and participates in the exchange of research information with policy makers, as well as the scientific community. The Society focuses on the field of biological sciences including Agriculture and allied sciences. It provides a forum to the scientists to interact on important issues of research, education and extension. The Society was registered in 1995 under the Societies Registration Act VI of 1998 (1941 AD): 2949-S of 1998.
