The National Maize Research Program (NMRP) is a part of the Nepal Agricultural Research Council (NARC) dedicated to maize research and development in Nepal. It focuses on improving maize production and productivity to enhance food security, nutrition, and livelihoods for Nepali people. NMRP develops new maize varieties, technologies, and cropping systems, and also conducts training and collaborates with various stakeholders.
