The Pyrenean Institute of Ecology (IPE) is a research centre integrated in the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), within the Natural Resources Area. It has two sites, one in Jaca and the other in Zaragoza, and its main mission is to contribute to the understanding of the functioning and structure of terrestrial systems and the organisms that inhabit them.
