This document is a summary of the seminar held by the group on agroeoclogical transitions (GTAE) on the 14th and 15th of December 2017 and devoted to the evaluation methods of agroecology. The GTAE consists of four NGOs (Agrisud, AVSF, CARI and GRET), which support the development of agroecology in various countries around the world.

The seminar focused on four main areas:

• The evaluation of factors that further or limit the development of agroecology
• The evaluation of socio-economic effects and impacts
• The evaluation of agro-environmental effects and impacts
• The findings of those three areas and the conditions for transversal approach
