New release of the Mobile Broadband Coverage data

The World Mobile Broadband Coverage dataset is a raster grid at approximately 260-meter resolution, representing cellular mobile wireless Internet access as a binary (1/0) layer. This grid was compiled using data from the GSMA Mobile Coverage Explorer database, incorporating both operator submissions to GSMA and data from the OpenCellID cell tower database.
The Mobile Coverage Explorer is updated annually, with each release published in January. The latest available dataset is the 2025 release, which includes operator data submitted up to the end of 2024.
