Very soon, FAO will implement a new feature in the AGROVOC infrastructure that will enable the publication of AGROVOC on demand, beyond monthly releases. This new improvement is also necessary to optimise available resources and make AGROVOC more sustainable and cost-effective in the short and medium term. Therefore, in the coming months, technical work on AGROVOC will focus on providing this new functionality.

This does not mean that editorial work will stop; it must continue, but the content will not be visible externally (outside VocBench) before November or December 2025 through the new electronic infrastructure for the publication of AGROVOC.
