FAO in Cambodia

Cambodia has been a member of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) since 1950, with its first country office established in 1979. In partnership with the Royal Government of Cambodia and key stakeholders, FAO is leading efforts to transform the country’s agrifood systems by promoting sustainable agriculture, enhancing food security, and reducing hunger. FAO's work focuses on six key areas: agriculture value chains, One Health and livestock production, fisheries, forestry, land and water management, food systems governance, and data and digital transformation.

FAO Cambodia: Impact in Focus

As the year comes to a close, this video brings together moments from across Cambodia, capturing a year of action, partnership, and progress toward more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient agrifood systems.

From fields to forests, fisheries to food systems, data to communities, and policy to practice, collective efforts with government partners, communities, youth, and development partners are reflected, advancing better production, better nutrition, a better environment, and a better life for all.

During the year, the #365DaysOfAction social media campaign reached more than 5 million people, amplifying stories of change and collective impact across the country and beyond.

As 2025 concludes, appreciation is extended to all those who contributed to this journey. The work is carried forward into the year ahead.

The video is now available to watch, offering a moment to reflect on the year and look ahead to what comes next.
