General information and registration

The Second Session of the Sub-Committee on Fisheries Management is scheduled to take place from February 23 to 27, 2026 in Reykjavik, Iceland. In accordance with Article V-6 of the FAO Constitution, all FAO Members and Observers of the Committee on Fisheries (COFI) are invited.

This Session will be conducted in all FAO official languages, which include Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish.

The meeting is paperless, no printed material will be distributed, kindly make sure to bring your own copies, if needed.

To ensure the active participation of designated representatives from FAO Member states, it is requested that nominations are submitted through the FAO Members Gateway by the deadline of February 13, 2026. The gateway can be accessed at the following web address: https://www.fao.org/members-gateway/en/.

The COFI Observers who wish to attend the Session are requested to contact the Secretariat for further details. An FAO designated self-registration link to attend the Session will be made available upon receipt of all the necessary registration information.
