Commitments Matrix
Commitments are tailored to three different stakeholder categories. For each category, the Matrix presents six overarching commitments and a series of thematic commitments, divided into five sub-categories, which CGE partners can associate with. Partners can also propose other commitments which are not explicitly captured, as long as there is evidence that they represent important steps to close gender gaps and increase women’s empowerment in agrifood systems.
The Matrix and accompanying annual Progress Report enable the aggregation and tracking of diverse efforts to empower women in agrifood systems – leading to better policies and bigger investments, as well as opportunities for synergies.
Please indicate which stakeholder category your entity associates with:
Are you a bilateral development agency, foundation, multilateral organization or non-governmental organization?
In development cooperation, these types of entities are often partners to national governments and local development actors.
Are you a government, producer organization, trade union or local authority?
National governments have responsibility for the crafting and implementation of domestic policies, programmes and investments, while producer organizations, trade unions and local authorities are key domestic partners. Are you a business?
This category accounts for private businesses at all levels, scale and positioning within agrifood systems.
