Partners

Commit to Grow Equality (CGE) partners are the core drivers of the initiative. They include governments, United Nations agencies, multilateral development banks, private sector actors, civil society organizations, research institutions and philanthropic foundations. To become a CGE partner, entities must formally submit a commitment to CGE.

Value for partners

Strategic alignment and resource mobilization

  • Align internal funding priorities with a broader coalition of committed actors.
  • Expand opportunities to identify new partners and secure resources based on shared priorities.
  • Promote more effective, coordinated investments that accelerate progress on gender equality and agrifood system transformation.

Enhanced partnerships and peer learning

  • Forge new implementing and financing partnerships to advance shared goals.
  • Share data, evidence, and practical experiences to inform and scale up impactful solutions.

Visibility and global influence

  • Demonstrate leadership in closing the gender gap in agrifood systems and align with global frameworks, such as SDG 5 and the CFS Voluntary Guidelines on Gender Equality.
  • Raise the profile of institutional priorities on women’s empowerment and inclusive food systems through shared communications and CGE-hosted advocacy events.

Communications and advocacy

CGE is built on a strong communications strategy designed to raise visibility, drive engagement, and amplify partner voices. Partners are able to access:

  • A dynamic digital presence, including a user-friendly website and active social channels tailored to diverse audiences.
  • High-visibility moments (e.g. side events, global forums) that avoid traditional formats and focus on advocacy and partner engagement.
  • Open communications model where all partners contribute individually while reinforcing a unified global effort.
