Mandulis Energy Limited

Objective(s) of the engagement

FAO and Mandulis Energy Limited intend to connect farmer groups in Uganda to Mandulis Energy and support them to become suppliers of agriculture residue at fair market prices. The collaboration intends to support farmers' income diversification and, in turn, improve household's access to alternative energy sources. In addition, FAO and Mandulis also have the intention to develop joint initiatives aimed at strengthening the supply side of processed agriculture residues as part of energy value chain development through value addition activities by farmer associations and/or cooperatives.
