FAO and JR Farms in Rwanda, intend to boost youth agripreneurship and increase the overall productive engagement of young people in the agri-food system. Activities are envisioned in the following areas: a. facilitating networks of young agripreneurs in Rwanda access to JR Farms’ Green Agribusiness Fund; b. identifying and supporting opportunity-driven young agripreneurs to access additional training and capacity development opportunities; c. advocating for and supporting youth agripreneurs in getting visibility and exposure within the agri-food system and supporting their participation in different fora and dialogues that might influence related policy processes; d. supporting the monitoring and evaluation of the affects of initiatives, such as the JR Farms’ Green Agribusiness Fund on decent job creation and inclusive economic growth.
