Objective(s) of the engagement

The partnership will support the European Commission for the Control of Foot-and-Mouth Disease (EuFMD) in developing innovative technologies thus improving the capacity of veterinarians against Foot-and-Mouth and similar transboundary animal diseases. The partnership will focus on improving technological capabilities within the FAO EuFMD team, identifying highly specialized profiles that might support the workplan, increasing diversity and inclusion within the team and offering a path of professional growth to high-potential profiles.

Progress to date

CodeOp has supported EuFMD needs by supplying profiles for full stack developers and data analysts. From 13 profiles, five were hired as consultants for the team and two are currently active in their collaboration.
