In Republic of Congo my country, the Departement of Technology Innovation just starts. The people feed specialy from Cassava and Plantain Banana. The processing of Plantain is not practiced in mean cities. Some farmers crop great amounts in villages, but sometimes, bad roads or high taxs do not allow them to sell product in towns. My idea is farmers ought to know all issues to process Plantain because it is the second staple food, and even the first in many villages in the whole country. In several african countries, partnership with chinese people should allow african people to benefit from chinese experiment. I am looking for advices and issue of training for our new departement of 'Innovation Technologique'. In the country, Scientific and Technologic Research is a national priority. I am a agricultural scientist working in the Banana and Plantain area; currently I want to work in the field of Technologic Innovation, specialy for the 'Transfert de Technologie'.

Deqr Ahsan, Welcome to the forum. Starting a firm for rural theatre is quite an initiative. In my time in Bangladesh Shushilan in the south west produced an agriculture drama for raising rice production and information about new rice varieties. RDA Bogra with CABI developed seed health videos for good seed care. In Vietnam IRRI has worked with television drama to educate on pesticide reduction. I am wondering how you will go from rural live drama to using the dramas for rural television and even for being accessible in rural telecentres. Noel
