 Good morning to all of my fellow participants. Consequent upon Charlotte 's and Riggs observation: i enclose the role and stress laid by the experts of the SAARC conference recently held in New Delhi India: e-agriculture is highly needed in agriculture extension services with private public partnership mechanism in order to overcome lack of feedback follow-up in research extension linkages identified as weaknesses in the existing extension systems. Here e-agriculture is the most critical element in research-extension-farmer-marketing loop. Therefore, various ICT, media and above all manipulations of e-agriculture offers strong potential to improve this mechanism. With latest applications of ICT, the whole world shrinks to what is known as "Global Village." In e-agriculture private and public partnership can be built by developing simulation models in various components of agricultural sciences by developing decision support systems (DSS) for understanding a process/phenomenon in agriculral sciences under varying scenarios and to convey results /findings through text, figs, charts, easy to understand publications and software applications of course.
