I'm a Knowledge Manager and an Online communities Expert and I have been working at FAO (in Rome) on the IMARK e-learning module on "Building Electronic Communities and Networks" and the Thematic Knowledge Networks project. Today, I'm working with the "Communication for Development" group for enhancing the outreach of a network of communication platforms and developing the framework of the new website dedicated to Rural radio. I'm glad :) to be part of this discussion and the facilitation team for my deep interest in the role of mobile phones for development. I see them as very interesting tools, not only as standalone applications but mostly for their huge potential if better connected with other communication tools, such as the Internet and Rural radios.
