I would like to introduce myself. I am the Regional Coordinator for the Programme on Agricultural Information Services. We respond to requests for information from farmers in the SADC region. We are interested in utilising mobile phone services to respond to questions and look forward to finding out how to start this service. :)

Congrartulations to e-agriculture for interesting virtual forum. In particullary mobil phone is a complement to Technologies Comunication and Information (TIC) in rural development on the world. My country (Peru) has a more percents farmers ad rural people, I like make a project about the change that rural communities face in enhancing the benefits of mobil phone. Hi Bertha, glad to see someone from Peru. I haven't heard projects using mobile in your country. So if you have good examples, please share with the group!
