Hello, My name is Naimur Rahman and I serve as the Director of South Asia Regional Centre of OneWorld International - OneWorld South Asia. In this capacity, I also function as South Asian Regional Coordinator of the Global Knowledge Partnership (GKP). In OneWorld, we have been running an innovative and very successful programme, LifeLines, which provides personalised agro-advisory services to 100,000 Indian farmers using primarily a mobile phone as first mile access device. I obviously therefore have huge interest on the issue of Mobile Telephony in Rural Areas; and am expecting to share and expand my knowledge on this topic. Thanks.

Dear Naimur, I'm very glad you are online with us! :) Collecting examples of mobile projects, I recently blogged about Lifelines. Maybe you want to complete with some more detailed comments!
