Hi everybody, I am Sharbendu Banerjee from CABI India. CABI is an Inter-government Organization formed through an UN treaty level agreement between 43 countries. We are specialized in research and development in Agriculture, Bio science and Environment. In India, we are working on agro advisory and knowledge dissemination to the farmers through mobile telephony based services. We have the vast repository of research information of our own as well as other sources. Hence we are ideally placed to design contents for agro advisory services which is relevant, up to date and of high quality. All members who are into e-extensions, mobile telephony based services and tele-centres are welcome to discuss with me how we can help in creating the content and the communication infrastructure to offer the best to the farmers in easiest and most convenient way.

India is collecting many different experiments in this field and we hope you'll share with the other participants the experiences CABI put together.
