Dear All, I am a Research Analyst with an ICT research firm Internet Research in Ghana. I strongly believe the mobile device and its technologies has more for Africa and the Developing world. I also believe after this forum ideas and better approaches to helping the rural communities on the use of mobile technologies will be established. I wish to wish to express my appreciation for e-agriculture in organizing such a forum to share ideas and discuss what technologies can help alleviate poverty in our rural and even urban communities in the developing world. Thank you. :D

Dan. Greetings from Ghana to you all. Kofi Kankam is my name and I am the CEO of Elizka Relief Foundation ( formerly Elizka Relief International); a capacity building and human empowerment non-governmental organization in Ghana. ICT4D is one of our core units and as such highly interested in issues concerning the sector. We are presently a member of web2fordev and euroafrica-ict group. Currently; we are collaborating with Get Foundation to promote our farmers activities and market their produce on the eFresh Portal - www.efresh.com - and humbly believe Mobile Telephony is an area we need to give much attention to in this direction since it shall be of immense help to our operations. I humbly look forward to benefiting and enriching my experience with the rich and experts resources from this forum. Meanwhile, let me use the opportunity to greet Dr. Nigel Scott of Gamos.
