Hello everybody, I am an MD. I work for an SME active in the field of ICT satellite and space technology and telemedicine and elearning. We collaborate with two NGOs Ithaca theat produces GIS maps for international cooperation Instiuttions (FAO UN) and projects and OCCAM (ex UNESCO foundation) promoting ICT villages i.e. connectivity through satellite link for rural area. We are their expert for Health related issue and space technology for international cooperation

Paolo, your experience sounds very interesting! GIS, data collection and "vertical geography" will be very useful as soon as mobile devices will evolve and will be able to access those data in an easier and faster way. As someone already said in this Forum, the existing networks are not yet able to deliver such data around. How do you work in this sense? Can you tell us a bit more about the future development of infrastructures which are at the base of the services we are talking about?
