Ethiopia - The National DAEAS Stakeholders Forum

Bringing together key players in the Digital Agriculture ecosystem for collaborative and coordinated roadmap implementation.

Introduction

The Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute (ATI) and the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) of Ethiopia are planning to start the implementation of the national Digital Agriculture and Advisory Service (DAEAS) Roadmap. The DAEAS roadmap aims to align efforts among several stakeholders within Ethiopia to benefit farmers.

The National Forum will bring together key stakeholders from the public, private, and development sectors of the Digital Agriculture ecosystem to foster collaboration and coordination.

The forum will provide a platform to continuously create visibility in the progress of the roadmap’s implementation and align national and sectoral priorities with all relevant stakeholders. Additionally, the potential challenges and solutions to the DAEAS Roadmap implementation will also be identified and discussed.

Objectives of the National DAEAS Stakeholders Forum

  • Discuss progress made so far in terms of action item detailed planning, implementation follow-ups, and commitments 
  • Align priorities for the upcoming review cycle
  • Bring together key players in the agriculture ecosystem to promote collaboration, coordination, and learning
