WSIS Prizes 2023 submission opens

World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Prizes 2023 - Call for Submissions

WSIS has announced the opening of the WSIS Prizes 2023 and they are encouraging all the stakeholders to SUBMIT their project descriptions to the WSIS Prizes contest from now before the 7th of December 2022. The e-Agriculture team encourages eligible projects in agriculture to submit their projects for this prestigious award.

The contest is open to all stakeholders entities representing governments, private sector, international and regional institutions, civil society and academia. Each entity is allowed to submit one project per category.

WSIS Prizes are a major highlight of the WSIS Forum every year and they recognize outstanding initiatives by governments, private sector, and civil society that leverage the contributions of ICT for the benefit our society. Projects related to ICTs in Agriculture fall under the Action Line C7 - E-Agriculture

The WSIS timeline for WSIS Pizes 2023
  • SUBMIT – During the period from 7 September 2022 to 7 December 2022, all WSIS stakeholders are invited to submit WSIS stakeholders are invited to submit WSIS related projects to the WSIS Prize 2023 contest.
  • VOTE – The list of nominated projects will be announced on 24 December 2022 and WSIS stakeholders will be invited to participate and cast their vote by 25 January 2023.
  • WIN – The 18 winning projects will be announced and together with the 72 champion projects, recognized at the WSIS Prize 2023 Ceremony at WSIS Forum 2023 (14 Mar 2023).
