Reboot the Earth – Rome will be organized from 13 to 14 October 2025 at FAO Headquarters, Rome, as part of the FAO Science and Innovation Forum (SIF 2025), bringing together young talents and experts to co-create AI-powered, open-source solutions for climate-resilient agrifood systems.
This event serves as a dynamic platform to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and transformative action in digital agriculture.
Each year, it explores how innovation, expertise, and partnerships can generate impactful solutions for food security and sustainability. Building on the FAO’s commitment to digital innovation, the hackathon emphasizes the critical role of AI, open collaboration, and mentorship in shaping resilient and equitable food systems. Multidisciplinary teams will work alongside international mentors to prototype solutions that can be scaled globally, contributing to open and ethical AI in food systems.
