I am passionate about agriculture and how the needs of the consumer can be met in a way that is safe for them and the environment. 
I was raised on a small family farm, and bring a balanced and deep background in crop production and product marketing for corn, vegetables, soybeans, small grains, turf and other specialty crops. During my 20 plus years of experience, I have collaborated on fertilizer products and markets throughout the Northeast United States.  I have also completed demonstration plots for weeds and disease control as well as worked with various brands of farm equipment. I measure success with a focus on well-being and performance for the employer, employee, and environment.

The security of man's food system is critical and ways to meet the growing demands of quality and quantity while minimizing waste from "soil to supper" is paramount to helping meet the growing demand. This, combined with increasing positive public awareness of agriculture, is key to building a unified effort toward a nation's food security. 

All forms and types of food production must be considered and prudent, wise choices in farm management need to be made as they will impact the most basic of our needs, namely, our food and our planet.
