FOREIGN VISITS:

  1. Visited Hunan hybrid rice research Institute, Changsha, CHINA for a 20 days training for “2012-Hybrid rice technology training course”, established relationship for future hybrid rice research collaborations.
  2. Attended the training course at IARTC, IZMIR, TURKEY from 13-17 May, 2013 for a training course on” Agricultural mechanization and information technologies”.
  3. Participated in “South Asian regional workshop on AgMIP (Agricultural model inter-comparison and improvement project) held at Kathmandu, NEPAL in July, 2013.
  4. Presented in the Workshop on “Climate change mitigation and Agricultural productivity ” hosted by APO, JAPAN and ADBI(Asian development bank institute) , held at Colombo, SRILANKA, from 24th August to 1st September, 2013.
  5. Selected for the 5th SCO National Academies of Sciences Summer School for Young Scientists on Remote Sensing Technology and Applications in Kashgar, China from 20 July - 6 August, 2014.
  6. Selected for Prosper.net leadership programme“ Enhancing leadership and connectivism for sustainable development” held in Malaysia from 16-24 August,2014.

 

CURRENT PROJECTS: 1-  Agricultural models inter-comparison and improvement project (AgMIP) “Assessing climatic vulnerability and projecting crop productivity using integrated crop and economic modeling techniques”. Working as “Outreach Organizer”. This involves event management and I have organized an international workshop in June 4-6, 2013 and 2nd Workshop was organized from 16-17, January 2014.

 

2- A British council grant for project titled “Biochar for climate friendly Agriculture: Shifting paradigms towards higher precision and accuracy” worth 5.63 million PKR was executed. Two international workshops were conducted under this project 1st- 24-27 march, 2014 and 2nd on 12th May, 2014.

  1. Visited Hunan hybrid rice research Institute, Changsha, CHINA for a 20 days training for “2012-Hybrid rice technology training course”, established relationship for future hybrid rice research collaborations.
  2. Attended the training course at IARTC, IZMIR, TURKEY from 13-17 May, 2013 for a training course on” Agricultural mechanization and information technologies”.
  3. Participated in “South Asian regional workshop on AgMIP (Agricultural model inter-comparison and improvement project) held at Kathmandu, NEPAL in July, 2013.
  4. Presented in the Workshop on “Climate change mitigation and Agricultural productivity ” hosted by APO, JAPAN and ADBI(Asian development bank institute) , held at Colombo, SRILANKA, from 24th August to 1st September, 2013.
  5. Selected for the 5th SCO National Academies of Sciences Summer School for Young Scientists on Remote Sensing Technology and Applications in Kashgar, China from 20 July - 6 August, 2014.
  6. Selected for Prosper.net leadership programme“ Enhancing leadership and connectivism for sustainable development” held in Malaysia from 16-24 August,2014.

 

CURRENT PROJECTS: 1-  Agricultural models inter-comparison and improvement project (AgMIP) “Assessing climatic vulnerability and projecting crop productivity using integrated crop and economic modeling techniques”. Working as “Outreach Organizer”. This involves event management and I have organized an international workshop in June 4-6, 2013 and 2nd Workshop was organized from 16-17, January 2014.

 

2- A British council grant for project titled “Biochar for climate friendly Agriculture: Shifting paradigms towards higher precision and accuracy” worth 5.63 million PKR was executed. Two international workshops were conducted under this project 1st- 24-27 march, 2014 and 2nd on 12th May, 2014.
