Federica Matteoli works for FAO in Communication for Development at the Office of Knowledge Exchange, Research and Extension as officer of the project called Communication for Sustainable Development Initiative (CSDI) of which she was one of the promoters. She worked with NGOs in the field of disaster management, refugees and community development. She worked also at the World Bank in the Community Development Carbon Fund projects and in the field of participation and civic engagement. She graduated in Law at the University of Pisa and she has a Master in International Services at the American University of Washington DC. She collaborated with the Italian Ministry of Environment on Climate Change issues.
