Mark Gregory Robson
Mark Gregory Robson is Rutgers Board of Governors Distinguished Service Professor and Professor of Plant Biology at Rutgers University School of Environmental and Biological Sciences. He graduated with a BS with High Honors from Rutgers in Agricultural Science and an MS and PhD in Plant Science also from Rutgers. He has an MPH in environmental health from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) School of Public Health. He was also awarded an Honorary Doctoral Degree in Public Health (DrPH) from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.
He is a Fellow in the Academy of Toxicological Sciences (ATS), a Fellow of American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and a Fellow of the Collegium Ramazzini. His research focus is on exposures to pesticides and agricultural chemicals in developing countries. His current funding is from US Agency for International Development (USAID), the National Institute of Health (NIH) and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJ DEP).
Dr. Robson is the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Human and Ecological Risk Assessment and Associate Editor of Public Health Reports. Dr. Robson and Dr. William Toscano are the editors of the textbook Environmental Health Risk Assessment for Public Health (Wiley and Sons, Publishers). He is the recipient of the Pfizer Teaching Excellence Award, International Society for Exposure Science (ISES) Mehlman Award for Exposure Assessment Research, and the Association of Public and Land Grant Universities (APLU) Malone Award of International Education at a Land Grant University. He is the author of 140 peer reviewed papers, 12 book chapters, and 12 Extension Service Bulletins.
