I am a Meteorologist by profession and later got trained by the National Archives of Malawi as a Records Manager and was further trained as a Climate Data Rescue and Digitization Manager by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) of the United States of America while serving as head of the Archives of the Department of Climate Change and Meteorological Services in the Ministry of Environment and Climate change Management in 2002 up to 2015 when I retired to form my non- governmental Organization called, “Centre for Climate Change and Environment Management, (CCCEM).
I have worked with the Department of Climate Change and Meteorological Services for 33 years five months as a Technical Meteorologist having attested several posts from a Meteorological Observers, Data Quality Control Officer, Head of Climate Archives and Station Performance Inspector. I also own a profit making company called CLICMET Consultants that is dully registered with the required regulations in the Malawi Government. |
