I am the Monitoring and Evluation Manager of ACDI/VOCA Philippines. Our project funded by USDA promotes integrated farming systems for three primary crops namely cocoa, coconut and rice and the development of the value chains of the said commodities.The program will help the farmers produce food and income sustainably and thereby increase food security for their households. In the M&E we used geographic information systems (GIS), realtime monitoring using SMS GSM text messaging, database management .
