Doorcas Africa’s core domains of expertise sit at the intersection of livestock health systems, preventive veterinary medicine, agri-operations, and data-informed decision-making for smallholder farmers. We specialize in designing and operating prevention-first livestock models that reduce mortality through early detection, continuous veterinary access, and structured farm management support. Our work also spans livestock co-ownership models (FarmShare), farmer risk management, field operations coordination, and translating veterinary science into practical, low-cost interventions that work in rural African contexts.

Doorcas Africa is an agri-health venture building casualty-free livestock production systems in Africa. We work directly with smallholder and emerging farmers to reduce livestock losses through preventive veterinary care, farm-level data, and co-ownership models that align incentives and share risk. By combining field operations, trusted veterinary networks, and simple digital tools, Doorcas Africa enables farmers to produce healthier animals, earn more predictable income, and operate resilient farms in the face of climate and disease pressures. Our work is grounded in real-world pilots across Nigeria and is focused on scaling practical, trusted solutions for Africa’s livestock communities.
