I am currently working in Uganda, doubling up as a private sector business man selling website development, network & MIS services provider as well as an I-Network Consultant in the area of livelihoods. In ICT4Agriculture I am involved in transforming rural farming communities from speculative subsistence farmers to knowledge based farmers through the use of information effectively. This I do through my involvement in a Rural Market Intelligence (RUMI) project of I-Network where we assist farmers use information for planning, production & marketing. I also associate with Uganda Commodities Exchange (UCE - http://www.uce.co.ug) in the promotion of planned production, bulking and marketing of produce through cooperatives.
