<p>After having served in the corporate world for over 40 years, I have decided to pursue my passion; to resurrect poor and marginal farmers in India. People connected with the welfare of the farmers in the country have misread their problems and hence their efforts to bring them to the mainstream so far has failed. It has also become a political business for politicians to create supposedly an environment to this community to resurrect them but never gets translated and merely remain a promise election after election. The benefits of subsidies are siphoned off from the coffers of the Government. Corruption has also entrenched deep enough to fail every effort to lift farmers from penury. Hence I feel like pursuing my idea with the help of some organisation that can get into doing agriculture partnering with farmers and create a corporate and function professionally.</p>
