Rick van der Kamp is a senior operations officer at the International Finance Corporation (Jakarta office), and has over 15 years experience in ICTs, agricultural development and management consulting. A Dutch national, he has Masters in Physics & Development Studies (Eindhoven University of Technology) and in Economics (University of London, UK).

Rick started his career in management consulting with Accenture in London. After four years, he decided to shift focus to the developing world, and did work in agribusiness and microfinance across Africa, Latin America, Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia. Before joining IFC in 2007, he spent a year in Washington, DC as an emerging markets merchant banker. He has managed IFC's agribusiness programs in Latin America and East Asia, and currently serves as the coordinator of IFC's advisory work in ICTs for agri.
