A Program Analyst and Technical Food Security, Livelihood and Cash Based Programming Specialist with extensive experience on cash transfers process analysis, cash transfer delivery modality analysis, pre-market mapping analysis (PCMMA), Emergency Market Mapping Analysis (EMMA), Value Chain Analysis, Development and Value Chain Governance. Programming focus on scaling nutrition sensitive and climate smart agriculture interventions, increasing the profitability of market systems and trade for smallholder farmers, while deepening the depth and breadth of benefits to most vulnerable groups such as women and youth and strengthening the capacity of local systems to sustain the improved performance and inclusiveness of market based interventions. An advocate for a paradigm shift for extension services away from production-oriented extension and towards facilitation for fostering commercial relations between smallholders and private-sector service providers, and multi-purpose use of cash transfers programming across sectors (food security and nutrition, health, WASH, education, shelter, social protection, NFI. Has worked as a humanitarian practitioner in Afghanistan, Jordan, Niger, South Sudan, Sudan and Zimbabwe.
