Bangladesh being part of the third world has its fair share of difficulties that need to be addressed. Whether it be unstable governance or the widening social disparity a handful needs to be done on our part to make Bangladesh connected to the world and overcome such difficulties. One major issue on the road to further success in Bangladesh are the parochial dogmas of the sexes predominantly in the rural areas. Women are restricted at home and domestic chores take up most of their time. Working outside home is frowned upon. Only in the urban cities do women have access to a better independent life. We have successfully created a system whereby the conditions that hold women back are the exact conditions which will help each and every woman possessing a desire to succeed earn a decent living, at the same time feel independent sitting at home and not even going to the local markets for business. Bangladesh is the seventh most populous country in the world which naturally implies a high poverty rate. There is no better way than using Information Technology to mitigate aspects of this global disease that we call poverty, towards a more self dependant Bangladesh. Sadly the use of Information Technology is available to a certain echelon of society more specifically the upper and middle class. As a result majority of the population of our country is still unaware of the importance of free exchange of information and benefits that could come out of its expansion.
