Recently, I am working as a Scientist in “International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas- Food Legume Research Platform (ICARDA-FLRP) since January 16, 2016. Before this, I was working as a Research Associate in same center and monitoring on-the-ground research activities across crops (Chickpea, Lentil, Grasspea, Fababean, Durum & Bread wheat, DAC chickpea project and agronomic research) at ICARDA-FLRP, Amlaha, Sehore, India. However, I have worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Department of Field Crop, Ankara University, Ankara (Turkey) under the supervision of Prof (Dr.) Sebahattin Ozcan during March-2013 to Jan-2015. Earlier Ankara University, I was working as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA), Aleppo, Syria under the supervision of Dr. Michel Baum and Dr. Shiv Kumar during March-2011 to June-2012. Previously, I have completed PhD in Genetics with PhD research title of “Cytogenetic and Tissue Culture Studies in Lathyrus sativus L.” from Barkatullah University Bhopal, India. I have completed M.Sc. in Biotechnology along with Teaching and research experience in the field of Plant Tissue Culture, Plant Breeding, Cytogenetics and Genetic transformation. I have fairly good knowledge of formal genetics, and molecular techniques essential for research work.
