Expert consultation on collecting sex-disaggregated data on land ownership and management in agricultural censuses

The Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) and FAO statistics division are organizing an expert consultation on collecting sex-disaggregated data on land ownership and management in agricultural censuses.
Purpose
The objective of the consultation is to:
i) gather country feedback on the methodological work conducted by FAO on this topic, and
ii) share the country experiences in collecting such type of information in the context of Agricultural Census.
Participants
Experts from nine countries (Ghana, Burkina Faso, Niger, Cambodia, Togo, Mozambique, Malawi, Brazil and Uganda) will attend the meeting. Each country will be represented by national staff who has been (or will be) involved in the design and implementation process of Agricultural Censuses.
