To accelerate efforts to reduce forest loss linked to agricultural expansion, FAO and the UN-REDD Programme will host a three-day Community of Practice (CoP) featuring expert-led webinars, country experiences, and interactive discussions. 

Join representatives of the Forest and Farm Facility and Forest and Farm Producer Organizations (FFPOs) on Monday, 27 October at 10:40 CET for the session “Improving rural livelihoods and promoting equity and inclusion.” 
This segment will spotlight the work of theFFF and the crucial role of FFPOs in building climate-resilient, low-deforestation futures. 

Speakers include Mr. Jhony Zapata, Senior Forestry Officer, FAO, and representatives from MVIWAARUSHA (Tanzania) sharing insights on collective action to halt deforestation.
