The project is partnering with the Réseau des Jeunes Producteurs et Professionnels Agricoles du Togo (REJEPPAT) and Institut National de Formation Agricole (INFA) de Tové to pilot and test REJEPPAT’s training approaches aimed at strengthening the knowledge and skills of young forest and farm producers in five regions (Maritime, Plateaux, Centrale, Kara, Savanes) of Togo, benefiting 80 youth-led forest and farm producer organizations through the establishment of 25 forest and farm field schools. Over the course of the project, young forest and farm producers will be trained in the following areas:

  • Forest and landscape restoration
  • Agroecology
  • Agroforestry
  • Silviculture
  • Tree nursery production
  • Sustainable management of wood and non-wood forest products
